Teaching Personnel are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming secondary school in Orrell, WN5.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a genuine difference to students' day-to-day education. Whether you have previous school experience or are looking to take your first step into education, training and support are available.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teaching staff to help students access their education and get the most from their time in school.

Your responsibilities could include:

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support
• Helping students understand and complete classroom tasks
• Encouraging positive engagement and participation
• Supporting students with additional learning needs
• Helping maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Working closely with teachers and other support staff
• Providing general support throughout the school day
• Assisting with exams when required

Training & Development

Teaching Personnel can provide:

• Teaching Assistant training
• Free Exam Invigilator training
• Ongoing support from your dedicated consultant
• Access to further CPD and development opportunities
• Valuable experience within a secondary school setting
