Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting multiple Teaching Assistants to join a secondary school in Orrell, WN5. This is a great opportunity for experienced TAs as well as candidates looking to start a career in education.

The Role

You will support students across the school day, helping them to engage with their learning and providing additional support where needed. You may also have the opportunity to support the school during exam periods as an Exam Invigilator.

Duties may include:

• Supporting students within the classroom
• Working with individuals and small groups
• Helping students stay focused and engaged with their learning
• Providing additional support to pupils who need it
• Supporting teachers with classroom activities
• Assisting with exams and assessments as an Exam Invigilator
• Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe learning environment

Who We're Looking For

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
