Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Position (January Start)

Location: Christchurch area
Hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm
Age Group: 5–16


About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and dynamic school environment.

This is a full-time role with an immediate start, supporting both primary and secondary students aged 5 to 16. You will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, building strong relationships, and helping students engage fully in their learning.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 6 months of childcare experience, ideally supporting children with additional needs
  • A calm, patient, and positive approach to behaviour management
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
  • Full UK driving licence – due to the rural location, driving is essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
