Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant – Make a Real Difference

About the Role

This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering stability and the chance to work in a rewarding environment.

You will be supporting pupils aged 4 to 16 years old, primarily within a primary-focused setting, helping them engage positively with learning and develop essential social and emotional skills.

Your working hours will be 8.45am to 3.30pm, giving you a structured day that allows you to focus on building strong relationships and providing consistent support.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with children and is committed to creating a safe, positive, and encouraging atmosphere.


What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of six months of childcare experience, ideally involving work with children who have additional needs.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting pupils with behavioural challenges.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff.
  • A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers and achieve their goals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
