Are you passionate about supporting the education of children with emotional and behavioural difficulties? Do you have Team Teach training or any other form of restraint training? Have you got the ability to mentor and advise young children into being the best they can be? Then this Learning Support Assistant post may be perfect for you!

Learning Support Assistant required - This is an amazing primary Inclusion unit located in an area with good transport links in South East London - This post is open to either keen graduates or experienced, enthusiastic individuals who feel they posses the attitude and dedication required to work with more challenging students.

Maybe you're considering a career as an Educational Psychologist, Special Needs Teacher or Primary Teacher? Maybe you didn't have the best educational experience yourself, and you would like to help and guide students to have a better experience?

If you have a passion for education and the desire to help disengaged primary school pupils re-engage and achieve, this Learning Support Assistant role could be ideal for you!

Person Specification: To be successful in this Learning Support Assistant role you need to be nurturing yet extremely firm, able to enforce expectations without causing disruption and able to breakdown social and emotional barriers. The school wants to recruit someone who has a supportive nature and an understanding manner, who can relate to their students from day one. The school wants someone who can spark the interest of these young learners and start to turn their lives round, essentially preparing them to continue into secondary school and be successful in achieving the qualifications they wish to study for.
