Teaching Personnel are looking for people like you to help children achieve their very best in the classroom!

A school in Rhondda Cynon Taf is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to help pupils with challenging behaviours. Listed as an 'GOOD' support category, the school is actively working under new leadership to implement a new support strategy and ethos in the school. The school has specifically requested candidates with experience working with challenging behaviours. Previously, recent graduates looking to apply for a PGCE in the past have worked excellently. An energetic drive and ability to inspire are essential for this role.

The new head of a super school in the RCT area is looking to implement new behavioural standards across all departments. Having moved from a very old site which was not fit for purpose by today's standards, the school has recently undergone a 32million pound development on a new build. The new school boasts state of the arts sports facilities, a performance studio complete with recording booths, ICT hubs and most importantly for this role, new behaviour provisions with purpose build resource bases.

You will work with the inclusion manager to help support pupils with challenging behaviour and some SEN such as autism and ADHD. You will build a strong rapport.

The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Be confident with challenging behaviours.
  • Be highly adaptable.
  • Have experience working with children, either as a class or on a one to one
  • Come from a sporting or coaching background.
  • Be potentially interested in applying for a PGCE and looking for classroom experience.

What Teaching Personnel can offer you:

  • Full support and career development.
  • Training courses.
  • Free trail days within the school.
  • Competitive pay.
  • Opportunities for long term positions.

The school are looking to fill the position as soon as possible.

If this sounds like an area where you might excel then please send your CV to Jack Jenkins at or apply via the link below.
