Are you interested in working as a behaviour support assistant in a large Manchester secondary school?
Do you hold experience working within mainstream secondary schools supporting pupils with behavioural issues and are at risk of exclusion? Do you have transferable experience working with children from difficult backgrounds and are confident building rapport with secondary aged children?
If so, this could be the ideal position for you.
This large school located in Manchester currently have a need for a teaching assistant to work within their behaviour support team on a full time basis. Within this role as a behaviour support assistant you will hold a number of responsibilities including;
*Supporting pupils within their studies cross curricular
*Providing general support to classroom teachers
*Deliver additional tuition to pupils on a 1:1 basis
You will report directly to the SENCO who leads the provisions for behaviour support, previous experience would be an advantage but if you have worked with children and know the policies of working within the classroom this would be considered by the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
