Teaching Personnel are Recruiting

Do you have experience working with SEMH or looking to gain experience?

Are you looking to use your skills and experience in a school environment?

Teaching Personnel are working with SEN schools in Reading and surrounding areas catering for children with certain learning or behavioural needs. We are looking to recruit and register people for our Behavioural Support Assistant vacancies with certain skills who can help nurture and support within these areas. skills will are looking for are;

  • Autism (ASC/ASD)
  • Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
  • ADHD
  • Mental Health

The majority of schools require full time, permanent Support Assistants who would work 1:1 or in small groups with these pupils. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with similar needs or be passionate about working with children with behavioural problems. Candidates that are suited for this type of school tend to have experience in some of the following:

  • Criminology
  • Youth/Community work experience
  • SEN experience
  • Residential support/care worker
  • Sports coaching
  • Team Teach
  • Youth Offending Services
  • Challenging behaviour within family
  • Mentoring
  • Teaching/Learning support Assistance
  • Psychology

Candidates are required to work full time 8.30am-15:30/16.30pm depending on training days.
