We are recruiting for is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one in Secondary school for those with SEMH needs/ This school recently received a Good from OFSTED and is actively looking for individuals, particularly those working in Behaviour support, to support their young people. The ideal candidate would be someone who:

• Experience working with social, emotional and mental health

• Can keep calm under pressure

• Has a warm and friendly personality.

The staff nurture and support all children on their personal learning journey.

As Teaching Assistant you would support the individualised schemes of learning created for these young people. Your will need to keep them engaged and promote progress but this support can be tailored to suit your owns style and the learning methods of the young person.

The school is based in the South Wigan area so is easy to get via bus or car.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
