We are looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant for an OFSTED ‘Good’ Primary school in central Cambridge. The role is a 1:1 support position for a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The ideal Candidate;

• Experience working with Primary aged children
• Experience with Special Educational Needs – particularly Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
• Knowledge of positive behaviour techniques
• Enthusiasm and Energy!
• A drive to build positive working relationships with pupils and colleagues

This role may be suitable for applicants with experience including sports coaching, working with youth offending services and armed forces experience.

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will be working 1:1 with a pupil as well as providing support for the class teacher and small groups at times. The role can be challenging, however extremely rewarding and the school are incredibly supportive.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
