Behaviour Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are closely working with a Chorley based School which provides education and support for KS3/4 pupils who have SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and ODD. Many of the pupils will display challenging behaviours and candidates must be confident in their classroom management. The School is based on the outskirts of Chorley and candidates must be willing to work full time. 

The School are looking for a hard working, empathetic, resilient, trust worthy and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who are often difficult to manage and disengaged from education. The candidate must be confident working with pupils with SEMH Difficulties and SEN, the candidate must be available full time and School hours are 8.40am - 3.10pm Monday - Friday. 

The candidate will ideally be looking for a long term, if not permanent position. The candidate must be looking for a role supporting and assisting pupils who struggle in education and ideally, candidates will be team teach trained, but this is not essential. 

The successful candidate will benefit from: 

- Negotiable pay rates GBP57 - 67 per day
