Teaching Personnel are current working with a mainstream Primary school in North Liverpool (L21), who are looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant to work one to one with a boy in Year 5. The pupil has diagnosed ADHD, and has trouble with his concentration in class; so can require emotional support to help with his stress levels throughout the day. The role will be full time Monday - Friday, and is set to start at the beginning of May until at least the end of the academic year. The role could potentially continue until the end of 2020, depending upon the pupils needs. 

Ideally you will have experienced working with challenging behaviour and ADHD, and the patience and understanding to work one to one on a long term basis. You must have the ability to form a positive working relationship with the pupil, and be able to provide support and guidance when required.

The school has been graded 'Good' by Ofsted.

• North Liverpool, L21
• GBP9.50 - GBP10.50 per hour 
• Monday – Friday 
• Behaviour management

To be considered for this role you will need the following:

• Experience dealing with challenging behaviour in an educational environment
• Able to provide emotional support and guidance
• Confident on leading 1 to 1 intervention work
• Good behaviour management
• Be patient, caring and a good communicator
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
