Behaviour Support Assistant
- Pay: GBP60- GBP65 per day
- Full time- After October half term start
- Working with KS3 pupils
- 1:1 and small group work

Teaching Personnel are happy to announce an opportunity for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work with one of our biggest liaising schools in Middlesbrough. We are looking for a credible candidate who has previous experience working in education and who is enthusiastic for new opportunities.
About the role
This specific role requires an individual who can adapt their approach to enable the pupil to feel comfortable and that allows them to achieve too their potential. The school ask for the successful candidate to be available as soon as possible, also being able to take on the full time role which is 5 days per week. You will be working with key stage 3 pupils 1:1 out of the classroom, helping them gain concentration to be able to get back into the classroom with the rest of the class.
About the school
This school in Middlesbrough have a really good reputation in sustaining their quality and the attention to detail in regards to their pupil’s with challenging behaviour. They have a really good SEN unit which is well maintained due to the quality of their current staff. However, they are looking for a candidate who can bring a really enthusiastic approach to the department.
As Teaching Personnel and the school have a really good relationship, they encourage candidates to use the CPD academy. This provides Teachers and Teaching Assistants with the opportunity to go on external course; this will enhance their knowledge and understanding.
Having a good depth of experiences with schools in education will enhance your chances of becoming a successful candidate. Furthermore, having a child work force DBS on the update service will speed the process of this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
