Behaviour Support Assistant - Weymouth

The primary school located in Weymouth is looking to appoint a Behaviour Support Assistant who is able to support pupil engagement across a range of core subjects, with the aim of early intervention.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has previous experience working with young people in a similar capacity, especially challenging behaviours, and who can build a strong rapport with pupils.
Role and responsibilities:
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, your role will require you provide extra interventional support to identified pupils in the classroom, in smaller groups and on a 1:1 basis. You will act as a positive learning mentor, delivering tailored learning activities to boost engagement and attainment across a range of Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 subjects.

The school is very well established with a supportive leadership team who are shifting their focus on pastoral support from the new academic year and so are looking for a dedicated and supportive Behaviour Support Assistant. Located in the Weymouth area.
