Behaviour Management Teaching Assistant – Primary School | NG15 Area
Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives? Do you have experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour? We’re looking for a dedicated Behaviour Management Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the NG15 area.
Role Overview:
As a Behaviour Management TA, you will work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to provide tailored support for pupils with behavioural needs, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.
✨ Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural challenges
-
Implement behaviour support plans under guidance from the SENCo
-
Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress
-
Support classroom routines and promote a positive learning environment
-
Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour
✅ Requirements:
-
Experience working with children with challenging behaviour (essential)
-
A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
A genuine passion for supporting young learners
-
Relevant TA qualification or similar experience preferred
Location: NG15 Area – easily accessible by public transport and car
Start Date: ASAP

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
