Monday – Friday | 08:30 – 15:00 | £90 per day

We work with a fantastic Pupil Referral Unit in Bargoed who are looking for a Strong Behaviour Support Assistant working with KS3 and KS4 pupils.

If you thrive in a supportive environment and have experience with young people who have Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and behavioural challenges, this could be the perfect role for you.

The Role – What You’ll Do:

As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Work 1:1 and in small groups with students aged 11–18
• Support learners with ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and social-emotional needs
• Promote positive behaviour and inclusion across the classroom
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons across multiple subjects

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with young people with challenging behaviour or ALN
• Confident in using positive behaviour management techniques
• Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient
• Background in education, youth work, psychology, or coaching is a plus
• Strong communication and team-working skills
