Behaviour Mentor: North Manchester

Do you have experience supporting young people who are reluctant to engage in an academic or residential environment?

Would you like the opportunity to make a difference for two pupils who display challenging behaviour?

I am looking for an outstanding behavioral mentor to support two pupils at a school in North Manchester. This will involve taking them on various educational activities, and supporting in the classroom when the pupil's are able to engage. This secondary school caters for pupils with behavioural needs, who have struggled to engage in a traditional academic environment.

The ideal candidate will be engaging, bright and driven, with the ability to be flexible and calm under pressure. The ability to creatively build rapport is essential, as these two pupils can display extremely challenging behaviour.

Requirements

  • Driving licence with business insurance (or willing to get it)
  • Experience supporting young people who display challenging behaviour
  • Sports background/experience is desirable
  • Engaging and creative support style
