Behaviour Mentor

Do you have experience working within a challenging environment supporting secondary school students?

Do you have good behaviour management?

If so, Teaching Personnel are seeking a behaviour mentor to work within our client's secondary school. Supporting students who at risk of exclusion, who require extra support in and out of the classroom. You will be supporting a range of different students aged 11-16, working within small groups or on a one to one basis.

  • Behaviour Mentor required immediately
  • Located South of Manchester in Trafford
  • Supporting secondary school students
  • Competitive pay, paid on a weekly basis
  • Flexible working hours, part time and full time
  • Challenging but rewarding role

With the new academic year starting, our client's secondary school is looking to appoint a behaviour mentor to support their students return back from the summer holidays and offer support to the students who need it the most. The role will be on a temporary basis, for the first term, with the opportunity of earning a permanent contract within the school.

The ideal Behaviour Mentor will;

  • Be confident supporting challenging students
  • Have good Behaviour management
  • Have previous experience supporting secondary school students
  • Be available to work flexible working hours
  • Have a child workforce only DBS certificate, on the update service
  • Have a full driving licence, with your own transport
  • Have a degree, with a good knowledge of the core subjects
  • Be available to start immediately

The secondary school seeking a Behaviour Mentor is located in Trafford, in sale within an affluent area. With a recent 'Good' Ofsted rating and an Average progress 8 score, the secondary school is rapidly improving. Situated just of the M60, with excellent public transport links from Manchester Piccadilly, makes the secondary school easy to access.
