Teaching Personnel are looking for highly motivated and driven individuals to join their outstanding schools in the local area. The role of behaviour mentor would be supporting a child on a one-to-one basis or as a small group. Through your role you will be required to use your experience of behavioural management to support the students - ensuring that they are safe, constantly engaged, and continue to encourage them with their independent learning. Supporting the children throughout their school years, you'll develop close working relationships, helping them with both academic and vocational skills for their life ahead.

About the Role:

  • Undertake a range of tasks to support learning e.g. supporting literacy and numeracy work as directed by the class teacher (Either on a 1:1 setting or small group setting)
  • Work with pupils, either one-to-one or in small groups, some of whom may have additional educational or emotional needs.
  • Based in Hillingdon
  • Competitve pay rate 

The ideal candidate:

  • At least 6 months experience supporting challenging behaviour in a classroom based environment
  • Good role model with good command of the English language
  • Youth work experience
  • A degree in psychology, sociology or criminology is ideal, but not necessary!
