Full time Behaviour Mentor required for a renowned Salford Secondary school from September 2019, fixed term until the end of the academic year. Due to an increased demand within the support and inclusion provisions in place at school, Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team and SENCO to appoint a resilient, empathetic and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor who can inspire and support their pupils.

  • Full time Behaviour Mentor required, September 2019.
  • Opportunity to work within a rewarding position with full support and guidance through a dedicated staff team.
  • Must hold prior experience working with challenging behaviour within an education capacity to be considered.
  • Relevant training and or qualifications will be highly advantageous.
  • Earn up to £1350+ per month.

The school is located in the Worsley area of Salford and has been a monumental aspect for the local community. The senior team alongside all staff has continued to create an inclusive community geared towards the development of all its pupils. This Secondary school has just over 1000 pupils on roll aged 11-16, and is continuing to see an influx of pupils attending each academic year. It is also easily accessible via the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road) as well as the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Wigan.

  • Support identified pupils with their teaching and learning through 1:1 intervention and group based support.
  • Inspire pupils to develop a progressive mindset towards learning.
  • General cover responsibilities may apply within the inclusion and or support faculties due to the flexible nature of the role.
  • Take a resilient, pro active approach towards the management of behaviour in line with the School Behaviour policies.
