Behaviour Mentor
Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire
Salary: £20,000 – £24,000 (FTE), depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only (38 weeks)
Start Date: September 2025 (or as soon as possible)

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our committed pastoral team at our forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Daventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of young people by providing targeted behavioural and emotional support.
About the Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

Work closely with students who need additional support in managing their behaviour.

Build trusting, professional relationships to positively influence attitudes and engagement.
-
Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions focusing on self-regulation, emotional literacy, and conflict resolution.
-
Support teachers and staff with strategies to improve behaviour for learning.
-
Act as a positive role model and advocate for students across the school day.
We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or youth work setting.

Is calm, consistent, and solution-focused.
-
Understands the importance of early intervention and restorative approaches.
-
Can build strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
-
Is resilient, reflective, and passionate about inclusion and wellbeing.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
