Job Title: Behaviour Mentor

Pay: £89.38 Per Day
Start Date: After October Half Term 2025
Teaching Personnel are looking for a strong, resilient and supportive Behaviour Mentor to work with pupils who display some challenging behaviour and need tailored 1 to 1 support. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need it most.
About the Role:
- Work on a1 to 1 basis with pupils who present with a range of behavioural and emotional needs.
- Build positive and trusting relationship with pupils to help them regulate their emotions and behaviour.
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs, which may include ADHD, Autism, Social, Emotional, Mental Health & Anxiety.
- Promote positive behaviour and help pupils to re-engage with their learning in a safe and structured environment.
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour.
- Strong resilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring but firm approach with the ability to set clear boundaries
- A valid DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Relevant training in behaviour management, Team Teach, or similar (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
