Job Title: ALN Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Location: NP26

Contract Type: Full Time

Pay: £89.38 Per Day

Start Date: October 2025

Calling all candidates that are passionate about supporting children with additional learning needs (ALN).

Do you have a passion for helping children with additional learning needs?

We are looking for a dedicated and supportive Teaching Assistant to join our team.

About the Role:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with ALN including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties to help them access the curriculum.
  • Provide 1to1 or small group support when required.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.
  • Assist with classroom management and create a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting children with ALN (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring service) check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
