Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Offering one-to-one support in lessons, breaktimes, and transitions

  • Building a strong, supportive relationship with the pupil

  • Using positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques

  • Supporting both academic and emotional development

  • Following guidance from teachers, the SENCO, and external specialists

  • Contributing to a calm, inclusive school environment

Who We’re Looking For

You should be:

  • Calm, reliable, and empathetic

  • Able to build strong relationships with children and staff

  • Confident in using positive behaviour strategies

  • A good communicator who works well in a team

  • Aware of the importance of safeguarding and inclusion

You don’t need to be a qualified teacher or teaching assistant—your mindset, compassion, and commitment are what matter most. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
