Behaviour Mentor (LA1)

The role:

The school leads are looking for an individual who will provide support to help raise the achievement, aspirations, and engagement of pupils whilst promoting the partnership between the school, the student and their families. The successful applicant will be a patient individual who is committed to making a positive impact to children’s academic and social development. The role is full-time and will run until the end of the academic year- with the potential for extension as the school are looking to appoint a permanent member of staff.

Prior experience working in a Primary School is desirable but not essential for this role, at Teaching Personnel we are interested in hearing from all Educators who feel they could contribute significantly to the success and wellbeing of our young people and have prior experience supporting children in a work based setting.

The school:

The school is a two-form entry Church of England Primary School who value “Believing in success” so are eager to introduce a new member to their Early Years department who can contribute to the school’s level of academic success and will follow the schools ethos. The school has onsite parking as well as close links to public transport, and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to access CPD training.

If you are:

-          Enthusiastic and committed to work well as part of a team, as well as being self-motivated and able to work independently.

-          Passionate about the children’s learning and welfare.

-          Able to develop effective working relationships with parents/carers, staff, external professionals and the wider community.

-          Have prior experience working with children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
