Who We Are

A vibrant, inclusive secondary school in Cardiff CF5, full of students who are curious, lively, and full of potential. Our teams are friendly, supportive, and always on the lookout for colleagues who bring energy, ideas, and positivity into the classroom and beyond.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Behaviour Manager / Supply Teacher, you’ll be at the heart of student learning and wellbeing. Every day is different — one moment you’re supporting a classroom full of students, the next, you’re giving 1:1 guidance or helping a small group flourish.

Your role will include:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across different subjects (planning headaches? Not here!)
  • Maintaining a calm, positive classroom vibe and managing behaviour like a pro
  • Supporting students individually or in small groups with behavioural, emotional, or learning challenges
  • Working hand-in-hand with teachers and pastoral staff to help students reach their potential
  • Bringing the school’s values and behaviour expectations to life

Who You Are

We want someone who’s:

  • A confident communicator who can connect with students and staff alike
  • Energetic, adaptable, and proactive, ready for a dynamic school environment
  • Curious about education, child development, psychology, or mental health
  • Experienced (or excited to gain experience) in youth work, sport, coaching, or behaviour support
  • DBS-ready (or willing to apply)

If you can inspire, motivate, and keep your cool when the unexpected happens — you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Friendly, welcoming school communities in Cardiff & Caerphilly
  • Great work–life balance — weekdays only, term time, consistent hours
  • Boost your career prospects in:
    • Teaching or SEN Support
    • Educational / Clinical Psychology
    • Youth or Social Work
    • Counselling & Therapy
  • Learn, grow, and develop with training opportunities like:
    • Safeguarding & Keeping Children Safe
    • Positive Behaviour Management & Thrive Approach
    • SEND Diploma
    • TeamTeach & Cover Supervisor certification
