Behaviour Assistant
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Do you have experience dealing with challenging behaviour pupils?
As Teaching Personnel have a high demand for Teaching Assistants to offer 1:1 support for pupils from EYFS - KS1 with severe Emotional, Social, Mental Health and Behavioural Difficulties.
You must have experience supporting students who can display very challenging behaviour; however, this does not have to be in a school-based environment. Teaching Personnel also recruit candidates who have undertaken youth work, supported young offenders or those at risk of re-offending and those who have worked in secure or medical units. You must have the ability to build a rapport with a non-judgemental attitude and be passionate about improving the lives of young people.
The ideal candidate will be willing to work on a supply basis initially whilst we seek a longer term opportunity for you. Longer term opportunities usually arise quickly for those candidates who show initiative, are proactive and receive positive feedback from their supply assignments.
Pay rate is £57-60 per day!
