Job description

As a recruitment agency, we work with a wide range of schools across the country and support them with various roles.

 

I am currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with Teaching Personnel on a 0 hour contract meaning we will completely work around you. 

 

This type of contract is ideal for students, parents, or anyone looking for work that fits around their existing commitments, or anyone looking to gain experience in education without the pressure of a fixed timetable. It’s also a great opportunity to explore different schools, build your confidence in the classroom, and develop valuable skills that can support your future career.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher with daily lessons and activities

  • Working with individuals or small groups to enhance learning

  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support

  • Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

  • Providing support to pupils with additional needs where required

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • A positive, proactive, and reliable attitude

  • A genuine interest in working with children and young people

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in a school setting is beneficial but not essential

  • Willingness to complete necessary background checks (DBS)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
