SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Autism) - Year 4 (FY4)
Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a positive impact on the life of a Year 4 student with special educational needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a student with Autism who requires additional support in learning and cognition.
The school, located in South Shore, Blackpool, is highly regarded for its supportive environment and dedicated staff.
About the Role:
- Providing one-on-one support to a student on an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) in a mainstream classroom
- Ensuring the student's full participation in the Primary curriculum
- Collaborating with the SENCO and class teacher to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments in the classroom
- Assisting with social development outside of the classroom
About you:
- Empathetic, compassionate, and understanding, with a genuine passion for education
- Patient and nurturing, particularly when the student faces challenges in the classroom
- Experienced in working with children or individuals with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
