Bank staff teaching assistant, school behaviour unit, Kidbrooke

Are you passionate about supporting the education of children with emotional and behavioural difficulties? Do you have Team Teach training or any other form of restraint training? Have you got the ability to mentor and advise young children into being the best they can be?

Learning Support Assistant bank staff required (part time) - This is an amazing primary Inclusion unit located in an area with good transport links in South East London - this work is open to either keen graduates or experienced, enthusiastic individuals who feel they posses the attitude and dedication required to work with more challenging students.

You will be called on to provide cover for absent members of staff and therefore may rotate between the different classes based in the unit. They have two key stage 1 classes and two key stage 2 classes.

If you have a passion for education and the desire to help disengaged primary school pupils re-engage and achieve, this type of work could be ideal for you!

***Learning Support Assistant bank staff work
***Fantastic Inclusion unit located in a primary school near Kidbrooke
***Part time and flexible work
***Well supported primary school with excellent facilities
***School hours are 08:30am - 15:30pm
***ÂŁ60+ a day depending on experience/training
***Up to 8 children in a class so you will get to work intensively with each child
***Training courses available for Teaching Personnel staff

Person Specification:
To be successful you need to be nurturing yet extremely firm, able to enforce expectations without causing disruption and able to breakdown social and emotional barriers. The school are looking for someone who will be able to forge position relationships from the start.
