Autism Tutors /Teaching Assistants

We are looking for numerous Teaching Assistants to work at a Special Educational Need School based in Maidenhead.

Teaching Assistants need to be interested in working with children of either Primary and/ or Secondary age the school caters for both. You also need to be confident supporting pupils with Autism (verbal and non-verbal). These children will have other needs associated with Autism including anxiety, speech language communication needs and mental health needs.

You are required to be highly motivated to take on the training and guidance the school provides. They will support and train you on how to deliver 1-1 intervention programmes specific to the children's individual needs. Successful candidates need to be able to adapt easily to situations, attentive and communicate effectively within a team to ensure children receive the best support.

Minimum Requirements - Any relevant Special Needs/Autism experience or qualifications is desired, however not essential so please still apply. - A passion and enthusiasm to see pupils achieve their best potential - Dedication to the needs of all your pupils, working with other staff members to offer emotional and academic support - A child DBS on the update service, or one completed through Teaching Personnel - Good interpersonal skills and confidence - Punctual and reliable - Enjoys a challenge
