Autism Teacher

Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher to join a dynamic and forward-thinking special school until the end of this academic year 2021/2022.  The position would suit a specialist SEN teacher, or a teacher with a particular interest or experience in special needs. The successful candidate will join a creative and supportive team of leaders and colleagues with excellent educational standards.  The school offers excellent opportunities for CPD.  So, if you can be a good role model to our pupils, are a ‘cup half full’ kind of person and love working as part of a team, we would love you to come and join us!

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and it is our expectation that all staff and volunteers share this commitment.  The successful applicant will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)

WE CAN OFFER

•            A carefully selected ‘Peer-buddy’ to support you through to the end of the academic year

•            A commitment to your professional development
