Autism Support Worker – Primary School, Blackpool – Start ASAP (Leading into September)
Location: Blackpool | Job Type: Full-Time | Salary: £85 - £95 per day

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, starting ASAP and continuing into the new academic year in September.
About the Role:
-
Full-time position within a mainstream primary school
-
Supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) on a 1:1 and small group basis
-
Working closely with the SENCo, class teachers, and external professionals
-
Implementing individualised support plans and promoting positive behaviour
-
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and encouraging their independence
What We’re Looking For:
-
Experience supporting children with autism or other special educational needs (in school or alternative settings)
-
A calm, patient and empathetic approach to behaviour and communication
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
A genuine passion for supporting children to thrive
-
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, SEND training) are desirable but not essential
