SEN TA needed for a Primary School in Salford (M30)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an SEN teaching assistant to work on a full time basis in lovely primary school located close to the Eccles area of Salford (M30). Teaching Personnel are working alongside this reputable primary school to appoint a SEN Teaching assistant to start in November to support an incoming child in year 1with Autism for the academic year. The primary school has a very supportive environment for both pupils and staff. The school SENCO is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who has a calm and nurturing nature who can use their own initiative. They are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic TA who will bring a positive working attitude.

The pupils in the school are known to be friendly and welcoming. All lessons are carefully planned and are engaging for all pupils. The SEN department is inclusive and has great resources and support structure for both pupils and staff.

The successful candidate will ideally experience working with SEN children within an educational background. The pupil is currently in the process of moving to the Salford school. He is a lovely boy but struggles with communication and socialising with other children. So a calm, nurturing approach will be needed.
