An outstanding SEN school in Blandford Forum are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated and supportive team to work with pupils who have Autism. The young children need a passionate and enthusiastic teaching assistant to assist with general school life and help to stay on task to achieve the best learning outcome.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant should be an experienced working with SEN children either in a volunteer or paid role and should be able to show passion for working in education. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be a bright individual who can develop relationships with staff and pupils that ensure you can make the most of your placement.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will involve you working throughout the school. Day-to-day, you will be listening to the advice of a SENCO who will lead your development and work hard to help you progress.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
