ASC Teaching Assistant

Autism Support Worker required for specialist school in Bradford

• Experience supporting individuals with ASC in an education, health or care settings
• Available for 3 days a week minimum during term time
• Available immediately for interview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work as an autism support assistant at a recently Ofsted graded “good” specialist school in Bradford who are looking for someone with the passion and committment to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) to access the curriculum in a long term role.

Experience in a school is desired but not essential as we also look for experience in areas such as social care and youth work. Particular personal or professional experience of supporting individuals with Autism is highly desirable as is an understanding of the complexities related to the behaviour in this condition.

A Studio 3 similar to a team teach qualification or other relevant training would be an advantage but again is not essential as Teaching Personnel have the facility to be able to offer training and have a range of CPD courses available throughout the year.
