- Experience of supporting & implementing an ‘EHCP’ would be desirable
A school in Burnley requires a teaching assistant with experience working with children with Autism (ASC) to join their friendly professional team. The role is to start ASAP as the head teacher is looking to get support in place sooner rather than later. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with experience supporting children with challenging behaviour and wanting further experience within a mainstream setting. You will be supporting the child with her academic studies, life skills and creative foundation subjects. The school has a supportive, laid back atmosphere where support for all is highly promoted.
If you are a team player, who can hit the ground running and use your initiative – this is a fantastic opportunity for you to utilise these skills in a way where you can make a real difference to a young child’s life.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. This post is subject to an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
If you are interested in this role and feel you have the relevant skills & attributes to successfully undertake this role, then please email me at howard.taylor@teachingpersonnel.com or call me on 01772 842155
