Teaching Personnel are working with a specialist school in Wigan who are seeking a Teaching Assistant (TA) to join their existing team. You will be required to work with learners with Autism Spectrum Conditions, and have an understanding of the low stimulus environment required to meet these needs. You will have previous experience of supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a specialist education or health care environment and you will be comfortable providing personal care. The school requires a high level of commitment and a passion to support those with additional learning needs. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SNTA) it will be your role to support learners both inside and outside the classroom with all aspects of learning and development. You will be a positive and passionate individual and be committed to supporting Outstanding Teaching and Learning.
As a registered candidate with Teaching Personnel, you will be eligible for the following benefits:
* Competitive pay rates of up to £55-70 per day (dependent on role and skillset)
