ASC Specialists required in Kirkham!

Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with two Schools based in the Kirkham area, both of which provide support and education for pupils with SEN, including; Autism, ADHD, Asperger's, ODD, PMLD and Challenging Behaviours. Both Schools cater for pupils of all ages and they are both seeking Autism specialists for roles coming available after the October half term. The Schools are smaller than mainstream schools but they both caters for a large number of pupils with SEN.

To be considered for this role it is imperative that you have an understanding of Autism and have experience working with adults and/or children with Autism and some experience with challenging behaviours would be ideal. Ideally, the successful candidate will hold their Team Teach qualification but this is not essential.

The role will be full time, starting after the October half term and you will be expected to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils challenging behaviours.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 64 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
