ASC Specialist Teaching Assistant - The School

Mainstream Primary Schools in Enfield are currently looking for SEN teaching assistants who specialise in Autism to start in January 2021.

Teaching Personnel are committed in helping these schools find the right candidates for them. These roles vary from 3-5 days a week and involve providing support to pupils with social, emotional and mental health as well as Autism.

Enfield is one of the most progressive areas to work in London, providing an inclusive, caring and friendly community. It has easily accessible transport links to the rest of the city, giving you unlimited commuter freedom in and out of London.

 

ASC Specialist Teaching Assistant - The Role

The ideal ASC Specialist Teaching Assistants will:

  • Provide specialist support to children with ASC
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with children who have Autism
  • Relevant qualifications/training
  • Liaise with Parents and SENCO on the child’s progress.
  • Need at least 6 months experience working with children within a Primary School setting (EYFS Ks1 & Ks2).
  • Need an understanding of the behaviour settings within a school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
