Art Teacher - Burton upon Trent - Part Time

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of our client secondary school in Burton upon Trent who are looking to recruit a teacher of Art to teach KS3 to start immediately. This will be a long-term position until the end of the academic year to cover maternity, working 2 days per week on a Wednesday and Friday.
The role
- Part time position
- You will be required to teach Art to secondary school pupils between the ages of 11-14 years (KS3)
- Preparing and planning for lessons with marking required
- Following and promoting the school curriculum and pushing for highest attainment
- Competitive rates of pay
Requirements for the role
- Must have QTS and experience teaching Art to the national curriculum
- Strong behaviour management
- Will have excellent subject knowledge and a desire to provide the best education to pupils
- Will be required to apply for a Child Only Workforce Enhanced DBS, if you do not already have one on the update service

- Grade 5 or above in English and Maths at 43% compared to the local authority's school of 37%

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
