Art and Design Teacher
Are you a creative individual with a strong background in educating children through art and design?
Job Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- BA (hons) or other higher level qualifications in Art and Design Technology
- Proven experience teaching Art and/or Design Technology at the secondary level
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Previous exposure to children with special educational needs
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the individual needs of SEMH students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers
- Show a commitment to safeguarding and ensuring the well-being of all students in accordance with school policies and procedures
Job Role:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Art and Design Technology lessons to suit the various needs of each class
- Adopt a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to express their creativity
- Adapt own teaching methods and resources to accommodate various learning styles and abilities within the classroom
- Assess pupils work in an efficient and timely manner, delivering valuable feedback to enhance their learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
