Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a well established secondary school in Bradford BD20 & BD9 looking to secure an Art Teacher to start in October 2019. As an Art Teacher you will be joining a school with a supportive senior leadership team that provides opportunities for development and progression via their regular CPD courses. I am looking for an engaging and creative Art Teacher who is confident delivering lessons of up to 30 students with positive behaviour management skills and a passion for education.

I am seeking an Art Teacher who:

• Holds qualified teacher status in the UK (NQT, FQT, QTS etc.)
• Has experience working with students aged 11-16
• Deliver pre-planned lessons to groups of 30-35 students
• Can teach grade 1 - 9 GCSE Art and Design
• Has high expectations which motivate and challenge students
• Can tailor lessons and think on their feet
• Has an upbeat and positive attitude towards the education of young people
• Holds a DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Art Theory as well as having a creative flair to inspire students. The ideal person will already have UK secondary school classroom experience and behaviour management skills.
