Teaching Personnel are working with an alternative provision in Middlesbrough who are looking for staff to support within the school when the permanent staff are unavailable.
You will be responsible for managing behaviour within your assigned classroom each day, working to support the class teacher. You will be working in a school which is extremely welcoming with very supportive staff and will play a key role in ensuring the pupils are working to their highest standards.
The school caters for pupils aged between 11-16 and has class sizes of up to 8 pupils, which you will support throughout the day across the curriculum. You do not need particularly strong curriculum knowledge however will be confident supporting up to GCSE level. The ideal candidates strengths will lie in behaviour management, you will be confident responding to challenging behaviour and will have experience supporting young people or adults with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.
This role will guarantee you three days work per week, however there will be further opportunities which you are able to take up. Teaching Personnel can offer up to £65 per day for this role, and there is potential of a permanent contract to the right candidate.
