Teaching Personnel has multiple SEN learning support assistant roles available across West Sussex for September 2026, covering a wide range of specialist and mainstream settings. From autism and SEMH provisions to schools supporting pupils with complex and multiple learning needs, we work with some of the most respected SEN schools in the region and we need talented support staff to help fill them.
Whether you're an experienced SEN professional or someone looking to take their first step into specialist education, we'll find a setting where your skills and personality are exactly what's needed.
What roles are available:
- SEN learning support assistants across autism specialist provisions.
- SEMH support roles in specialist and alternative provision settings.
- Learning support assistants for schools supporting pupils with severe and complex needs.
- 1:1 individual needs assistants (INAs) in both SEN and mainstream schools.
- General classroom support roles in inclusive mainstream schools with SEN units.
Who we're looking for:
- Experience in SEN, education, childcare, youth work or health and social care.
- Adaptable, patient and committed to inclusive education.
- Willing to undertake specialist training relevant to your placement.
- Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Available full-time or part-time from September 2026.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
