Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a highly touted Macclesfield secondary school for an Academic Mentor. The role is set to begin March 8^th upon schools reopening, as a full time, permanent position within the school.

The role will be providing dedicated academic intervention support to students across all year groups, with an emphasis on GCSE pupils. You will be will working on a 1:1 and small group basis with students who are falling behind on their predicted grades or have been outlined specifically by the SENCO as requiring additional support.

The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level, preferably within a core subject. Any experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant is beneficial, but the key is the ability to demonstrate high level academic ability and strong relationship building skills with students to foster a passion for learning. Any experience within private tuition is also favourable.

• Full time role starting March 8^th
• Earn between GBP1200-GBP1350 per month  
• Work in a highly academic Manchester secondary school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
