A Manchester based secondary SEMH school are currently looking to recruit an Academic Mentor to join their support team from April 2021 on a temporary basis to provide 1:1 and small group subject support, SEMH support and well-being support to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

As an Academic Mentor, you will provide tailored support including:

  • One-to-one and small group tuition
  • Revision Lessons
  • Additional wellbeing and SEMH support
  • Mentoring linked to the curriculum

Subject areas that we recruit Academic Mentors for include; English, Maths, Science, Primary – Literacy and Numeracy (Nurture), and Additional Learning Needs.

Highlights of the role:

  • Full-time Academic Mentor (starting April 2021 - July 2021) likely to be ongoing
  • Great rate of pay earning between 1200-1350GBP a month dependent upon experience (paid weekly)
  • Fantastic opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching / a PGCE
