1:1 SEN TA required to work with a KS2 students within a SEN school in Hull.
We are looking for an experienced TA who would be happy to support pupils with high anxiety and sensory impairments in a SEN school for pupils with SEMH. This is a diverse school where every child is valued, is encouraged to celebrate individuality, takes care of one another and does the best they can. The school have a great nurture room which has many sensory activities and toys to support with play therapy.
You must be:
- Available 5 days per week during the school term
- Experienced supporting pupils or adults with SEN/SEMH
- Resilient and able to support with behaviour management
- Happy to come up with interesting and exciting short activities
If you had the following it would be beneficial:
- Experience working with Autism/ Global Delay / SEMH
- Experience managing challenging and sometimes physical behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
