Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school committed to providing every child with the support they need to reach their full potential, based in Winsford. They are currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs.

Your role:

  • Provide tailored 1-1 support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve targets
  • Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher, SENCO and external agencies to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and various support strategies
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
  • Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to staff and parents when necessary

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (experience with ASD and ADHD is desirable)
  • Calm, patient and resilient
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
