Global Delay – 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Rusholme

Are you a graduate with some experience of supporting children with learning difficulties? We are seeking a dependable and determined 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Rusholme.

This 1:1 Teaching Assistant role is to support a child with Global Delay in Year 2. Your responsibilities will include aiding the academic, social and personal development of a Year 2 pupil with Global Delay, working alongside the class teacher, SENCo and liaising with Educational Psychologists and parents to ensure the pupil is engaged and making progress.

Please apply if you have:

• Experience working with SEN pupils
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Proven confident and engaging interaction with children
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work well as part of a team

The role will be on a full time, long term basis and will begin week commencing Monday 7^th October 2019.
